easa010 at the cuttingroom experiment
The Cuttingroom is a new public space being opened in Ancotes, and to mark its official launch the North West Regional Development Agency and New East Manchester have teamed up with Ear To The Ground to stage a pretty unique event - 12 simultaneous flashmobs.
Anyone can apply with an idea, or at least they could before the deadline, which is put on the site and then people vote for which they want to happen.
easa010 saw this a great opportunity to take easa to people outside of our base, so we put in an idea based on the theme of easa010 - Identity.
Delightfully it has proved rather popular to date (at time of writing we are tantalizingly close to 100 votes). Voting closes on Wednesday so it’s a bit early for us to be comfortable yet, so if you feel so inclined vist the site, register in two minutes and vote for us so we can be the most popular kids in the playground.
Even if you don’t want to vote for us, check out the website; no matter what you think about flashmobs, this should prove to be a fun event.
