easa 2009 Italy
easaUK2010 are set to pass through a couple of major milestones, with Saturday bringing the the opening of easa009 Italy and 6 days later moving within, the psychologically significant, 12 month’s to easa010.
I (Chris Maloney) am in Italy all ready, acting as a helper, soaking in as much advice and experience as possible, whilst pitching with some of the less glamorous things that simply need to be done. Today had me moving 400 chairs and 400 tables out of the classrooms that will act as dormitories; far from being 3 1/2 weeks in the sun, this is more like a bus man’s holiday.
Over the course of the preparation, assembly and clean up I will be updating this site with stories, photos and perhaps a video or two - Internet connection permitting. It is well worth keeping an eye on the site as I attempt to guide you through the assembly from an insiders perspective.
Without giving too much away, we are also planning some changes and an announcement or two to mark the torch of EASA host nation being passed to the UK - but all that is in the future, the present is easa009 Italy.
